Talk therapy refers to treating psychological disorders and mental distress through verbal and psychological techniques.
’Counselling’ and ‘Psychotherapy’ are similar (not exactly the same). Mostly, counseling sessions progress to therapy sessions based on the needs or challenges of the client.
Both describe a process of helping an individual to come to terms with and work out solutions to their problems.
However, they vary in the approach used and underpinning model and thinking.
